DISTRICT PROJECT

Mental Health Services & Support

Key Club wants to focus on mental health because it plays a vital role in the well-being of students and the community. With 1 in 5 teens experiencing a mental health disorder and stress, anxiety, and burnout on the rise, it’s crucial to create a supportive environment where people feel heard and valued. Many students struggle in silence due to stigma, lack of awareness, or limited access to resources.

By promoting mental health initiatives, Key Club encourages open conversations, reduce stigma, and provide students with tools to manage stress effectively. Through service projects, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with local organizations, the club can foster a culture of support, ensuring that no one feels alone in their struggles. Prioritizing mental health aligns with many values of caring, inclusiveness, and leadership, empowering students to advocate for themselves and their peers.
